Saw Good Bye Lenin with Dad, Jane, Laurel and (Bigger) Brian. It was on the top of the list of movies I've been wanting to see (kept seeing previews in other independent flicks). Its the story of a family in 1989 Berlin -- the mother has a heart attack and goes into a coma for 8 months, missing the fall of the Wall and collapse of communism. When she wakes up, her kids are told that she can't have any excitement or shock or she'll have another heart attack and die, so they recreate life as it was, creatively explaining away things like the large Coca Cola billboard that appeared on the building next door.
