For the second book in my sci-fi series, today I read Earthborn by Sylvia Waugh (Delacorte Press, 2002. 273 pages, $15.95. ISBN: 0385900600).

Imagine finding out all of a sudden that your parents were from another planet and were planning to leave -- with you -- in just a couple of days to return "home."
