Ah, another lovely summer evening. Our softball team (now 1-2) was trounced 17-5 but it was a fun game and we had a great rally in the last inning (3 of the 5 runs anyway). S & I have been booking our tickets to go to Seattle over Labor Day Weekend and then back East at the end of September and trying to send out a few random job applications for practice. Then, as a treat, since our kitchen is filled with zucchini and lemons, I whipped up a batch of Zucchini Lemon Muffins (we'll see how they come out, but there are plenty more zucchinis to try a different recipe with another day)
