Strawberry Festival

We headed down to Watsonville today for their Strawberry Festival. We pulled up seconds too late for the shuttle bus so had to wait around quite a while at the start, but got there and immediately had some strawberry shortcake (the sign said "Build Your Own Strawberry Shortcake" but really you just went along with your bowl and they put in pound cake, strawberries and whip cream so you didn't really do any building) The only other highlight was winning a t-shirt in Spanish from 5-a-day.

On the way down we stopped at the paint store and bought supplies to repaint our dining room chairs. I'm so excited to get to paint something!
