Mezuzah
We finally got our new mezuzah hung on the doorpost. I found some directions to follow so hopefully its up properly. Our lovely realtor and mortgage broker had given us some gift cards to purchase one as our wedding present and we finally found one we liked at the Israel in the Park festival last week. I really like how prominently the "shin" is featured (most do have the letter shin on them) since its the first letter in my new last name and seemed like a good thing to have on the door.
סוף סוף קבענו את המזוזה החדשה שלנו על קורת דלת הכניסה.
מצאתי הוראות כך שאני מקווה שהיא קבועה באופן תקין.
המתווכת הנפלאה שלנו נתנה לנו כרטיס מתנה לקניית מזוזה כמתנת חתונה ולבסוף מצאנו אחת שאהבנו ביריד "ישראל בפארק" בשבוע שעבר.
אני אוהבת במיוחד את ה - ש' (ברוב המזוזות ישנה האות ש' בתוכן) כיוון שזו האות הראשונה בשם המשפחה החדש שלי כך שזה משהו טוב לשים על הדלת.
