Mailbox Follow-up
Since I've received a number of questions about the new mailbox, I thought I would post a quick follow-up. I don't think I explained well that it is attached to the garage door, so the mail falls right in from the slot in the door and then the mailbox safely holds it as the door opens and closed until we come and open the latch and retrieve the mail. Here are some photos to demonstrate.
Some other random life-at-home photos. S made fried zucchini blossoms (from the local farmers market, stuffed with feta and breaded with matza meal since we didn't have any breadcrumbs) for his cooking group last weekend (theme was flowers -- he also made rose petal ice cream in our icecream maker), the flowers in our garden (not edible) are doing great despite the heat (though the jasmine is looking pretty toasted), and Bonnie continues to run the house.
