I am coming to your wedding. I will be on the East Coast the week before because Nelly and I are going on a dog sledding birthday celebration together. So I am going to stay for the week. If I can be of help to you in any way please call and or e-mail me.

Also how can I be of help to you on your wedding day to make Shachar's family feel more welcomed?

Having been to Israel many times, renting apartments and living like a local gave me many opportunities to feel Israeli.
Also having an Israeli daughter-in-law, who I am also close with her family makes me comfortable with Israelis in general.
